Fantastic brunch with great service. Portions are large and we enjoyed both the food as well as the coffee. We even took home some tasty chocolate treats for later. Some of the tables located in the middle of the restaurant are quite small and we did find it to be a loud and chaotic atmosphere. Our server was more than up to the task but I think we would have enjoyed the experience more if we had chosen a less busy time. We visited on a Sunday at 12:30 p.m. We will definitely return however, as the high quality of the food and coffee more than made up for the noise.

This place never disappoints. It’s always lively with good food and drink. Our server was outstanding, probably one of the best we’ve had yet. He was knowledgeable, funny, and friendly. The service was amazingly fast for how crowded it was. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good, everyone enjoyed theirs. I wouldn’t come here if you’re looking to be wowed by the food but it’s tasty average American fare. They do have an incredible raw bar though if that’s what you like. It’s an extremely popular place so it can be very crowded and hard to get a reservation. Overall I loved it and will certainly go again.

This was such a wonderful experience. The ambiance is perfect dim lighting, not too loud, and the service was extremely exceptional. I decided to skip the tasting menu and order a La carte. I had one drink, the salt margarita, it was not too sweet and was very well balanced. I then had Neptune’s pillow which was light, fresh, and not overwhelming in taste which made it the perfect starter. The fish all but melted. I also had the crab cone which was very small however it was PACKED with flavor. I’m not a big crab fan but I’m certainly interested in going back for a few more of these. Shortly after I had the Philly cheese take which was a pleasant surprise! I wasn’t expecting the cheese to be so perfectly melted INSIDE the bread. What a pleasure. The oxtail croquetas were also good but it was my least favorite of the evening. Still worth a try imo. Lastly I ended with the carrot cake which had the perfect amount of ginger and all the flavors blended together creating bliss! Overall it was $100 which was way less than I anticipated. I would love to come back for the tasting menu

Great service. The food was amazing. We had the meat platter to share and the flatbread with sausage. The drinks from the bar were just right. The pita bread that the send out to the table is warm and pairs well with the olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. Overall the place was great for date night or for after work drinks.

What a vibe! So much charm, outstanding food, and great service. Prices are high, but large portions. Order family style … maybe 3 items for 6 people. That would have been just about right! Love this place.

Discover Washington, D.C.

An international city with the food chops to show for it, Washington D.C. is brimming with new restaurants, coffee houses and spirited bars. And, while tablecloth dining has it’s place here (diplomats gotta eat), so does the casual yet delicious lunch spot (interns gotta eat, too). Near the Capitol, historic eateries and classic menus are favored by many. Excellent Filipino food can be found in Columbia Heights. Near Georgetown, upscale bistros and farm-to-table spots are the order of the day, and Adams Morgan is home to many international restaurants and locally owned cafes.
