Was good. Can see why it’s so popular for tourists. But didn’t feel like a tourist trap.

I love supporting the farmers cooperative. The food is amazing. The service is great. Upstairs is quieter than downstairs. Everyone I’ve taken here has loved it.

Visiting from Texas and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The BBQ is simply outstanding. It is as good as the BBQ joints in Texas. We liked the rustic décor of this place. We loved the Cucumber Salad with crumbled feta, mint and white balsamic vinaigrette (fresh and refreshing). The Kansas City Style Brisket burnt ends were delicious and the Beef Brisket was very tender and flavorful. Our servers provided friendly and efficient service frequently asking us if we needed refills on our drinks. We would definitely return to this place if in the area again. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely table for our special occasion lunch right by the big window. The six of us ordered multiple dishes from the hot and cold mezze and enjoyed every single one. My son said the chicken kabob was “the best chicken I have ever eaten in my life.” The zucchini pancakes, roasted Brussels sprouts and Labneh with zaatar were standouts for us, and the hot puffy bread of course. The pides had good flavor but just a tad too much cheese on top for us. Service was very friendly and efficient. Thank you for making our lunch memorable.

This restaurant was amazing! I wish I lived nearby because I’d go back often! The service was so fast. Our appie came out in lest than 5 minutes. And our main courses shortly after. The meat was extremely tender and flavorful. I had the ribs and my partner had the brisket. Very moist as well. I loved the Mac and Cheese. The biscuits came with strawberry jam. The homemade coleslaw had a perfect dressing. The portions were huge and well plated. It was busy but we could still have a conversation with each other. We felt the price was reasonable for what we received. We had coffees to go which were perfect!

Discover Arlington

After you've seen all the monuments, your palate deserves a whirlwind culture tour too. Arlington is a short Metro hop away from the National Mall. It's home to everything from Greek dining that draws inspiration from Spanish tapas-style plating to restaurants where you can build your own burritos. Of course, areas like the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City and Pentagon Row are the places to be if you want the full upscale experience, but you're never out of walking distance from some of the D.C. area's famous freshly-cooked Ethiopian injera or Vietnamese pho. If you're worried about overdoing it, just remember that D.C. has the nation's highest number of vegan eateries per capita and features tons of vegetarian options.
