Her Place is kind of like a restaurant but kind of like a dinner party. The menu changes triweekly, sometimes daily, sometimes a la minute. Imagine showing up to your mom's friend's house for dinner and just eating whatever she makes -- it's a little like that. The food leans French and Italian with some Jewish touches swirled in. We offer two seatings of 26 guests Monday - Friday, at 6pm and 8:30pm. Our maximum reservation is for 6 guests. We have wine and cocktails!!The House of William & Merry
$$$$•Contemporary American•5(2,460)The House of William and Merry serves contemporary American cuisine prepared from the freshest seasonal ingredients procured from local farms, providing casual fine dining at a reasonable price. Chef-owned by the husband and wife team, Merry Catanuto and William Hoffman, who live on the property, the restaurant is a remodeled farmhouse on the edge of central Hockessin. Dine in a comfortable home atmosphere in one of the two dining rooms, the porch, or the bar. When you arrive, you can see right into the all new, modern kitchen. Full bar service is available including wines by the glass, microbrews on tap, and specialty drinks. Or, take a walk around back to see the herb and vegetable gardens.
Tuesday through Saturday we serve lunch and dinner. On Sunday, we serve brunch followed by a prix fix supper in the evening.

Reservations for 3 or more are required to book our Puck & See experience. A popular option at sister restaurant Mawn, Puck & See is a 2 hour family style feast featuring an ever-changing menu curated by chef and team. $75/person includes selections from Raw Bar, Small Plates, Large Plates, and Dessert - all portioned for the table to share.
We always hold spots for walk-in parties of 4 or less, which usually fill up when we open. After that, please join our waitlist at the door.Meetinghouse
$$$$•Pub•4.9(60)Meetinghouse is a full-service neighborhood bar at the corner of Memphis & Cumberland Streets. Serving house beers alongside wine, spirits & uncomplicated American bar food.
We offer reservations in our dining room for PARTIES OF TWO TO FOUR people (please count children of all sizes as a full person). We can't accommodate groups larger than six.
Only about half of our dining room is bookable – the rest is set aside for walk-ins. So if you don't see any reservations available, WE MAY STILL HAVE A TABLE FOR YOU. Come on by!
THE BAR IS JUST FOR WALK-INS, and we offer our full menu there.

Vita Nova features a "Best of Delaware" award-winning lunch buffet Wed-Fri and elegant fine dining Wed-Fri during the fall and spring semesters. For lunch, the students offer fresh, local dishes including gourmet salads, soups, pastas, entrees, fire-roasted flatbreads, cheese board and mini sweets. The five-course dinner begins with a fusion-inspired appetizer trio and choice of salad, followed by intermezzo and your choice of entrée. The evening ends on a sweet note with a decadent dessert.
