- BBrianNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThe TAvern is always a great experience. I had the shrimp and grits, and my wife had the scallops. Soooooo good! Faith was our server and she was amazing. Our daughter just graduated PSU and we are really bummed we won’t have regular access to this amazing establishment going forward!!! Five stars always.More infoThe Tavern Restaurant$$$$• Contemporary American• State College•4.8
- SS MorrisPittsburgh / Western PA •14 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoExcellent servers and waitstaff at this restaurant (and bar too). Everyone was engaging, helpful, and wanted to help make our time there great. Our food was really good, and only marked as 4 because our lobster bisque was early at room temperature. The bisque was poured into the bowl at the table, so perhaps that bowl was cold and it drew heat from the bisque. In any case, it was still very enjoyable and we would order everything we had again. PLUS, I’m quite certain if we had asked, they would have provided a fresh hot bowl, no questions asked. That is the level of care and service at Lionne. Our mains were scallops with bucatini and fried walleye with fondant potatoes and butter caper sauce. Both were so good. Lionne is definitely worth checking out!More infoLionne - The Nittany Lion Inn$$$$• American• State College•4.7
- MMaryGoldNew York City •158 reviews5.0Dined on 29 May 2026ASG has really hit its stride, consistently providing high-quality dining. We appreciate how the menu has something fantastic for everyone’s taste, from hard-core carnivores to vegans. We were there a few weeks ago, and I just had to return for another hit of their sumac honey carrots with goat cheese labneh, and more. The risotto with forged ramps was delicious. Go ASAP if you are interested, because that is definitely a seasonal dish.More infoAllen Street Grill$$$$• Contemporary American• State College•4.9
