After more than 40 years with Sushi Den, Chef Toshi returns to his roots with deep reverence for Edomae-style sushi, a 200-year-old Tokyo tradition that highlights each ingredient through precise Japanese techniques.
Kizaki offers Denver’s first authentic Edomae omakase, featuring approximately 20 courses including raw, cured, seared, cooked, and dry-aged preparations. Guests may also enjoy a full bar with thoughtfully selected sake, wine, or curated pairings.
The Omakase experience at the COUNTER or TABLE is $250 per guest, plus service fee and tax. The service fee applies to the Omakase only; additional sushi, beverages, and gratuity are not included. Seating times are 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and the experience begins promptly once all guests have arrived. He’s proud to express the depth of his heritage with an 18-course tasting menu that stays true to Mexican tradition with deep respect for masa nixtamalized in-house.
The experience starts in a dedicated antechamber with a welcome drink, and from there the evening unfolds as guests begin at the cold counter for raw specialties, move through the glass-enclosed wine and fermentation room, and conclude at the hot counter, where masa takes center stage.
We proudly partner with the Masa Seed Foundation to grow all of our corn just southeast of Boulder as part of a pioneering ancestral Mexican corn project. Each fall harvest reflects our commitment to preserving heirloom varieties and honoring the cultural legacy of Mexican corn.
Reservations for each month are released at 8am MT on the 1st of the preceding month.
