Still great sushi and atmosphere for celebrating a birthday! Thank you.More infoIzakaya DenPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Platt Park•4.8
- RRichardDenver / Colorado •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI always wondered about how restaurants figure out pricing for dinner items with white truffles.... We ordered a risotto with white truffles and the waitor came and grated the truffles. We thanked him. A few minutes later, he returned to add a bit more grated truffles....He obviously weighed it before, returned to the kitchen and weighed it again, and when he shorted us a tiny bit, he actually returned to give us our full amount of this treat...All done quietly but I now know how it should be done. Unsosphisitcated guy that I am, I once ordered white truffles at another Michelin star restaurant and the waitor kept asking me if I wanted more. I kept saying sure. When the bill came, I got an additional $105 for the "extra truffles". I prefer the Tavernetta method.More infoTavernettaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Downtown / LoDo•4.7
- CChanelDenver / Colorado •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI had the best experience having Thanksgiving dinner here! My father came to town, so I wanted to choose a place that was impressive. Every dish was perfectly cooked. I think my favorite, aside from the New York Strip, was the potatoes au gratin. Really, everything on the menu was impeccable. I definitely think everyone who is looking for a high quality experience should visit Guard and Grace. The service was phenomenal, the food was delicious. and we had the most amazing experience!More infoGuard & Grace - DenverPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown / LoDo•4.8
- NNealvipBaltimore / Maryland •74 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoFantastic!!! Will definitely return when in Denver. Place was busy hopping, but all staff worked hard to keep things moving smoothly. Jordan, our waiter crushed it. Outstanding attention & service. Treat her well cuz she is the best advertising your restaurant can have. Food also awesome from presentation to taste and menu choice great.More infoNorth Italia – DenverPrice: Moderate• Italian• Cherry Creek•4.8
- BBentonvipDenver / Colorado •14 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis place is outstanding. Crowded but not overwhelming. Menu is limited, in a good way. The restaurant presents a number of simple and complex options, and everything tastes as fresh as can possibly be. We started with dressed oysters, then a kale salad - both dishes perfectly prepared. Then lobster pasta, and salmon, again extremely fresh. The complimentary table rolls are also nostalgically warm, buttery and seasoned with salt and garlic. I'd only been here for lunch, but definitely coming back for dinner soon!More infoQuality Italian- DenverPrice: Expensive• Italian• Cherry Creek•4.7

Denver’s 5 Best New Restaurants to Try
Get ready for an influx of fresh, exciting spots in Denver to try. As per usual, pizza remains popular, but in Lakewood there’s a new Italian joint offering much more than just the pie. Tacos, too, are popping up more and more, and there are two new examples that can’t be missed. Each of these five places are absolute musts for your restaurant radar.
Discover Denver
Located just an hour’s drive from the trifecta of ski resorts—Aspen, Vail and Breckenridge—and nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains; Denver is scaling the ranks of the country’s most desirable places to live. And while Colorado’s capital city is a world class hub of winter recreations, a booming restaurant scene is on the rise, too. Brunch waits now rival those of its coastal counterparts. Sounds a little weird given Denver’s land-locked nature, but sushi is also popular here. Downtown, you’ll find Italian Trattorias, sprawling beer gardens, and a slew of coffee shops that range from pour over bars to laid-back, locals-only spots. Larimer Square forms the heart of downtown’s historic district and houses upscale restaurants fit for special occasions. On the outskirts of town, Red Rocks Amphitheater draws festival crowds for its outdoor acoustics and epic views.
