I've wanted to stop in here for a while, as I've heard how good of a burger they have. It did not disappoint. My wife got the fancy chicken sandwich, perfectly cooked and had the right combo of spice and sweet in the sauce. Fries were perfect. We also had perogies (such a nice creamy filling with a light crisp on the shell) and French onion soup (excellent, with a bit of a kick). We certainly will be back to try other things on the menu. Service was excellent, we even commented that it must be fun to be a server at a restaurant that had excellent food, as our server (I apologize but forget his name) definitely seemed to love the place.

Brunch was wonderful. Enjoyed the salmon appetizer with cream cheese, egg and capers. We ordered traditional Eggs Benedict, shrimp and cheese grits, monte cristo sandwich, a pancake and a guava mimosa. Couldn’t have been more pleased, They initially seated us in the front table near the wisteria but it was a cold day and every time the door opened, we were blasted by cold air- we requested and they obliged by moving us upstairs. Coffee cups were kept full and hot. It is a bit pricey but as the adage goes “You get what you pay for”. Excellent

Gale, our waiter was terrific, his service was spot-on, and humor appreciated! The food was delicious as usual. I really enjoyed the grilled octopus for an appetizer and Papardelle pasta with lobster and sundried tomatoes. My meal was topped off with the chocolate bread pudding with raspberries ["I think"]. Casbah is always a no-brainer when I want a special meal, in a setting where I can share conversation with friends.
