Michael Wan's Mandarin
££££•Chinese•4.9(3,083)你好, welcome to the Mandarin!
Established in 1961, this traditional and authentic Cantonese restaurant in Blackpool town centre has been extending a warm oriental welcome to customers for 64 years!
Choose from a mouth-watering selection of delicious dishes including Mrs Wan’s dumplings, made from her own recipe, Szechuan chilli beef, Nasi Goreng and oriental fruit salad with lychee. We are very proud that every dish and every sauce is made in house, because we care about our food.
The belief that every meal shared should be special is why this restaurant takes time to carefully select and prepare the freshest Chinese dishes, adding just three extra ingredients - quality, experience and time.
Our core belief is that we are a local restaurant, open year round for local residents and visitors to the resort alike. We"ve worked for many years with our local suppliers to continue to bring you the best experience of Chinese food in Blackpool.Apollos Greek

Included in the Michelin guide and Number 9 in the Estrella Top 50 gastropubs 2026 winning highest new entry.Michael Wan's Wok Inn
££££•Pan-Asian•4.9(1,308)Our pan-Asian menu gathers influences of cooking styles from all around Asia; including Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, China, Indonesia and Vietnam. The design of the restaurant is influenced by some of our favourite places to eat and drink, it takes its cues from the street food ‘Hawker’ markets of Penang mixed with the reclaimed building feel of Budapest’s ruin bars. These places both have a magical feel, something that we’ve tried to recreate for the people of Blackpool to enjoy. Penang, Malaysia is an eclectic melting pot of various food styles, with influences from Indonesia, Thailand, India and China, dishes such as soup ramen and stone-baked donburi are two great examples of the depth in flavour, which can be created when different styles come together.

The Hop Vine
££££•Gastro Pub•4.8(2,606)The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. To the rear of the building in our historic Cobbled Garden you will find our own brewery housed in the stables which were used for the horses and stage coaches as they passed through the village. Our countryside sister the Legh Arms is our latest addition to the family and is situated in the pretty hamlet of Mere Brow. ££££•British•4.7(145)Set in the centre of the main street of the historic market town of Clitheroe, the Swan and Royal in a former coaching inn dating back to the 1830s.In its earlier years as a hostelry, it boasts guests both famous and some say infamous, in the local area and throughout the country. You can stay in rooms named after a selection of the most interesting of these people.
After the fire, the Swan and Royal has undergone a major refurbishment, keeping its original character and still making it a warm and friendly place to eat and drink.
During the day it is the ideal place to rest tired legs after walking round the market or the wide range of individual shops Clitheroe has to offer. At night it is a little more lively – being the centre of town makes it the centre of socialising!

- AAndreaEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review5.0Dined on 18 Jan 2026We had such a lovely visit to this pub. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly — the kind of place where you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. The staff are attentive without being overbearing, and the overall vibe makes it perfect for a relaxed meal or drinks with friends. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted freshly prepared, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the menu. What really stood out though was the value for money. The portion sizes are generous and the quality of the food far exceeds what you’d expect for the price. All in all, a fantastic little gem of a pub — great atmosphere, great food, and incredible value. We’ll definitely be back! 🍻More infoOak Inn££££• Pub• Preston•3.7
