The simplicity of it, the freshness of it, the quality of ingredients that you get to work with.” They specialize in that quintessential Italian comfort food – pizza. “I think it’s great that the city of Boston is turning around and starting to become known for pizza like the other big cities in the country,” he said. “It is such a simple food but it all comes down to the quality of ingredients.” It’s all done out of an open kitchen where the star of the show is Molinari’s wood burning oven.

We started with the oysters, followed by the warm lobster roll for my main course, and both were absolutely delicious. The quality of the food was exceptional, and the service was equally impeccable. A word of caution though… make a reservation! This place is incredibly popular, with queues literally stretching out the door. Without a reservation, you could find yourself waiting quite some time. Thankfully, we booked through OpenTable and were seated almost immediately. And whatever you do, save a little room for dessert! The chocolate chip cookie is an absolute must and the perfect way to finish an already fantastic meal. Great food, excellent service, and clearly a restaurant that deserves its popularity. We ordered the Prime Ribeye and Swordfish. The steak was cooked perfectly. Sides were the sweet potato, creamed spinach and carrots. The sweet potato was massive and the other two sides are easily shareable. Could have split just one side, maybe two. Martini was a 10/10. Our server Bernardo was outstanding and very knowledgeable.
