My wife and I went for an evening for my birthday. Matt was very accommodating in adapting the meal my wife had. All the food we had was excellent from start to finish and we didn't really want to leave, Would definitely go back and would recommend.

The food was fantastic- we all really enjoyed what we ordered. Waitress couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. Although the back of the restaurant is cosy and has ambience, it can be really noisy if another table are loud which we experienced, and which meant we couldn’t hear ourselves.

This is hands down the best roast dinner we’ve had in a pub in a long time! We’re only a 30-minute drive away, but had never even heard of this place until we spotted someone else’s photo of their roast – and we’re so glad we did! We absolutely love a roast dinner, but often struggle to find anywhere local that beats a good home-cooked Sunday roast. However, this place has definitely changed that! We had the mixed roast and honestly, everything was spot on. The confit potatoes were unreal, all the meats were cooked to perfection and the vegetables were delicious too. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food. We’ll definitely be making the trip back – 100% recommend! 😍
