When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. We will definitely be coming back and so happy that we chose this restaurant for our daughter‘s birthday dinner.. The Beef bourguignon was stellar! My husband loved his burger and the muscles were in the most delicious broth served with excellent shoestring french fries in a cone (which I loved)….. My only gripe is that they did not serve any crusty bread which would have been so good with the broth. Atmosphere is very important to me and I love having a view.
