In addition to a selection of classic innovative dishes, Zuppa Restaurant also focuses on expert wine pairings. With 25 different vintages on the menu and a professional mixologist on staff, diners can always be sure to get accurate advice. For private events, guests can reserve the cellar at Zuppa Restaurant as an intimate dining room. This eatery was also reviewed in The New York Times.
There are so many positives that I don't know which should be listed first, but here goes. Valet parking in a crowded area is a must. The courteous coat check that is necessary in this cold weather. The staff is outstanding in their attention to details and care with they describe the dishes. Probably, best of all, is the delicious food, it is superior. And lastly, but not least, is that Edi, the owner, speaks with diners at all the tables. Kudos to this restaurant.
Restaurant oasis in downtown Yonkers. Lunch is a good deal.
Food was delicious. Drinks perfect. Very nice experience. We were there at Thanksgiving and they also had a traditional dinner on the regular menu. I opted for that and it was perfect. Lovely stuffing, perfectly cooked turkey, and all the sides. Would defiantly go back. Great experience.
Granted there are many Italian restaurants, but none offers a menu quite as exciting and varied as Zuppa! I travel from Manhattan just to dine with them. I have never had a meal that I did not love.
Incredible food. Excellent professional service. A NYC quality restaurant in Yonkers minus the travel, YAY!!!! My husband loves the veal bolognese. I always order the pasta Neri
Zuppa is the best in all categories. The service is excellent, the food delicious and the ambiance are excellent.
Zappa was very average. All of the dishes needed more seasoning, and the dessert had almost no flavor. The restaurant is beautiful, I wish the food lived up to the ambiance.
My colleagues and I had Hudson Valley Restaurant week lunch at Zuppa's, and all went well. The service was especially lovely, and there was no problem in getting separate checks...(some drink and some don't, so this makes it much easier to settle up.) My salmon was pretty good, perhaps a bit overcooked for my preference, and the ratatouille it was served on was very good. The portion sizes were rather small, either because it was lunch or discounted for restaurant week. I'm not sure...Overall, Zuppa's is a very nice place, and we'd all go there again. But please, a little more to eat! :-) I love the "soho" like atmosphere right in downtown Yonkers where we all work.
Wonderful as always. Food, service, valet parking, everything
Great spot, great food, excellent service highly recommend for any affair
Lunch for HVRW. Great selection, food was excellent, squash ravioli was outstanding
Zuppa has been a favorite of ours for 3 + years, as we got married there and had a wonderful, intimate wedding and dinner with our closest family and friends. Ever since then we have gone back for other celebrations, including birthdays, our wedding anniversary and New Year's Eve. This past weekend we celebrated my birthday as well as that of one of our friends and had a wonderful time. The food was simply delicious! The ambiance was lovely - they redecorated the restaurant and it looks great! The service was superb. As always, it was great seeing Edi Dedi (one of the owners) again, as he makes us feel like we are right at home. Thank you, Edi! We will be back, as will our friends!!!
My second visit and well worth my long ride to meet friends. Food is delicious and the service is A plus. It’s a beautiful restaurant and won’t hesitate to go again !
This restaurant is consistently outstanding!
The staff was so attentive and the food was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back to try the other seasonal menus.
Amazing atmosphere, service and meal. We will be going back. A+
Salad and pasta were very good.
Extremely casual not a fine dining experience. Bar area extremely loud. Mostly locals hanging out. Definitely not returning.
Drinks at the bar: we both had the Lillet spritzer. Perfect for a hot night.
Appetizer: we split a pizza. Super thin crust. Very fresh tasting sauce. Perfectly cooked.
Entrees: Very good as well. Lamb chops were a bit fatty but super tender and tasty. Nutella short ribs were great, but probably even better on a cold night.
Lots of interesting options on the menu, we were having trouble deciding. Service was lovely and happy to make recommendations.
Wine list was impressive. Tons of choices.
The space is nicely decorated. The music was a bit loud but that won’t stop us from returning.
Great service, great food. Management takes pride in their business. Super pizza
Our whole experience was amazing. The hospitality of the owners and staff are felt as soon as you walk in and throughout the whole experience. Our food was amazing and the waiter/kitchen was so helpful with one of our guests who had a bunch of eating restrictions! Love this place and will continue to come back!
The restaurant has good food. The service is not so professional and not reflective of the pricing. It is higher priced than appropriate for where they are.
I had a great lunch meeting there with outstanding service and food and lovely ambience
Too many other large groups; service too slow, very noisy. Food is pretty good - loved the thin pasta in duck ragu but the tarimisu was too small and liquidity, no texture. Have eaten here before so will chalk this up to a less than excellent experience. Love the valet parking
Everything is always great at Zuppa!
Service was great. Quality of food was excellent. Didn’t enjoy eating in the bar area. Much prefer the dining room. Portions were very small.
Love Zuppa, have been there before and I wanted to go back for my birthday. The waiters were very attentive without hanging over you. The food was delicious! Can’t wait to go back!
Outstanding food. I loved my salad and entree as did my dining partner. We did not have dessert, but I'd like to come back again. The sea bass was so tasty.
The restaurant is pretty and with valet parking right out front, it was a pleasure to go there!
Always a pleasure! Great food and service every time
It is always a great experience.
"THE BEST restaurant in Yonkers! Service is outstanding and the food is always above and beyond.
Good food, good service, nice setting. We would go again
We went for mother’s days. Good food, good service, a good vibe overall!!!
Consistently terrific food and great service. Can get a little noisy in the main dining room, but the yummy factor wins out over the sound!
Food is very average. Kind of feels like you are in a barn. Appetizers much better than entree.
Very solid Italian food with some interesting twists. The mussels were very fresh and well prepared with a light wine sauce and a hearty portion for 2 to share. The braised short ribs were outstanding, fell off the bone and the flavor was very unique with the Nutella braising, though you really can't taste chocolate. The Veal Picatta was good but I've had better. The veal was not pounded down enough which resulted it being a little chewy, but the flavor was delicious and the accompaniments of roasted artichoke hearts was a nice addition. It's high ceilings and open space give the place a vibrant atmosphere, maybe a bit noisy for some but overall not bad -- could use a little separation from the bar area.
Consistently excellent food and service. Never a bad meal. A yonkers favorite and "go-to" place for family get togethers and parties. The appetisers are great. I wish they had more classic pasta dishes, as some of the pasta dishes are a bit exotic.
While the restaurant was accommodating since they couldn't find my reservation, the food was bland.
Such a nice place. Food and staff were amazing
No rush, ample space for last minute reservations, excellent food and service. Nice family gathering spot.
