As always, I'm never disappointed when going to Edo. My friend has allergies and it was absolutely no problem for Edo to accommodate her. My friend was delighted as other establishments just offer one dish whereas Edo could offer her numerous dishes. There's always a great vibe at Edo and yes it can be loud at times but we were able to talk without shouting. Staff were great and so helpful too.

The food was absolutely brilliant, and the staff were wonderful. I had left a message when I booked the table asking for a wee card saying Happy Birthday for a friend, and rather than doing that, the staff sang happy birthday, put a candle in her desert and had happy birthday written in cocoa powder on the plate. They went above and beyond! The service was fantastic, all of the staff were so attentive and lovely to talk to.

Long thought to be the building where our entries namesake was held as a prisoner before being hung in Cornmaket, The Jailhouse as it is now known has been frozen in time for the last 70 years nearly forgotten about completely. Restored as part of the Joys Entry project, the aim was to keep as much of the original character of the building as possible. Brick walls, inscribed beams and original windows, take a closer look and see what history and tales you can find while you sip on tipples and nibble on rations. Time Served Well.
