Was an amazing experience from the moment of the walk in for our reservation, through the beverage orders, the explanation of the order plating and sharing opportunities, as well as the energy and exemplary attention of our host. The food was spectacular and the desserts topped it all off as we closed out the evening. Highly recommend to anyone to check it out and will definitely be a repeat.

We had a terrific night. We left the menu decisions up to our server and she chose a delicious assortment of dishes which allowed us to try a bunch of different things - all extremely yummy. Elevated setting and excellent service.

Calcutta Cricket Club was great through and through. The service and the entire menu is well crafted, I was surprised with the Indian twists to the standard cocktails. The Porterhouse steak was really good as well. Will definitely come back for more in future tho. I hope they add more desert options since they do have such a creative team that did craft rest of their menu really well.

We had a wonderful experience celebrating my husband’s birthday here last night! As a vegetarian who is also recovering from an illness, I often find it challenging to find restaurants that offer good vegetarian options while still providing a great overall dining experience. This place was a lovely surprise, with delicious vegetarian choices and a beautiful ambience. We were seated beside the fire pit, which made the evening feel extra cozy and special. A huge shout-out to our waitress, Amanda, who was incredibly warm, kind, and attentive throughout the evening. She regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make my husband’s birthday special, even though it was a last-minute request. Amanda truly made our experience memorable, and we really appreciate the thoughtfulness and care she showed us. Please pass along our warmest regards to her—she is an absolute sweetheart! I was visiting Guelph for four days and had researched ahead for a nice lunch spot. This Cafe was also subsequently recommended by two others locally. I had an enjoyable lunch with a Lin-time friend who knows it well. The food and service were great and I love having the bookstore attached plus the indie cinema. Lovely!

In the summer, the secret garden patio opens for al fresco dining in the heart of the city.

The second floor houses the grand Sala da Pranzo and Bar delle Carceri, named after the cells below.
