Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Denham Springs

Outstanding experience with creative menu options using local farm to table meats, seafood and cheeses. Our favorite was the blue crab meat dip with Southern Maids Dairy goat chèvre. We sat outside on the deck again and thoroughly enjoyed our special occasion dinner.

We had another wonderful brunch at Tchefunctes. We sat outside and enjoyed the overcast day and breeze. The food was amazing as always. The servers, management and chefs all made the experience phenomenal. The lives music is always a treat. The only noise was the screaming kids from the Anchor below but we enjoyed the view more than we didn’t like that. Thank you for another amazing experience!

The Caesar salad was awesome and HUGE. Definitely entree size. My husband had a burger and I had the chicken sandwich. His was okay and mine was great (love the aioli sauce on the chicken sandwich). Our waiter was attentive and the atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was blasting us so much that both of us were shaking by the time we left and I’m always hot.
