After having a wonderful dinner supported with great service there last week, I went back this week to try the Happy Hour deal on $1 oysters. The oysters were fresh and excellent, and the service was again outstanding. My friend is ready to go back next week :-)

I took two french guests to NH and they loved it. The food was outstanding and so was the service. We ordered Grilled octopus and shrimp for appetizers. Branzino, filet mignon, lamb and wagyu hamburger. All, except for the hamburger, were outstanding. The hamburger was way below subpar. The service was one of the best I have ever had in DC thanks to our thoughtful Ukranian waitress. Noise level was OK. I already made a reservation to return. I will recommend this to friends and family.

We enjoyed the perfect DC date night at New Heights with white tablecloths, martinis and Sinatra background music. We enjoyed the ceviche and grilled broccolini Caesar as starters. For mains, my rack of lamb was presented with a smoke dome, very cool presentation and nice flavor burst. His tenderloin medallions were perfectly seasoned and tender. Staff was attentive but not oversolicitous, just right. New Heights delivers a lovely ambience conducive to adult conversations. Bonus, lovely moonlit walk from the UCorridor across the Rock Creek parkway.

From reception to leaving (and leaving my credit card in the check presenter which led to a call from our server to notify me five minutes after leaving - thank you Jhanna! - everything was excellent. Cocktails, wine and of course the food and service. Lucky to have this in the neighborhood.

absolutely incredible food and service. the oysters were some of the best we’ve ever had. the paella, halibut and lamb were just. so. good. the pistachio cake was the perfect ending. highly recommend!
