Price: Very Expensive•French American•4.7(43)Keith McNally brings Minetta Tavern to Washington DC
MINETTA TAVERN ORIGINALLY OPENED IN 1937
Named after the Minetta Brook — which ran southwest from 23rd Street to the Hudson River — the Tavern was frequented by various layabouts and hangers-on including Ernest Hemingway, Ezra Pound, Eugene O'Neill, E. E. Cummings, Dylan Thomas, and Joe Gould, as well as by various writers, poets, and pugilists.
Since its renovation, Minetta Tavern has best been described as "Parisian steakhouse meets classic New York City tavern."
We hope — and believe — that's a somewhat accurate description of the place.

- DDannyellLittle Rock •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days ago10 out of 10 highly recommend The Lincoln. Currently one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. Took my bf out for Father’s Day Brunch and it was phenomenal!! The omelette and waffle station served food cooked to order and the bottomless mimosa option was well worth it! The staff was courteous and very kind and the decor was interesting. We will most definitely be returning!!More infoLincoln - DCPrice: Moderate• American• McPherson Square•4

- MMesiVIPWashington, D.C. Area •34 reviews5.0Dined on 5 June 2025The Continent D.C. did not disappoint! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated. All of the staff was very nice, accommodating and they checked in to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. The mocktails were tasty, the oyster appetizer as well and the snapper platter was filling and tasty for two. I appreciated the various dipping sauces and that they had options that weren't spicy for the tame of tongue. The ambiance was gorgeous and I liked all the decor touches, art and color choices. We were greeted by two managers and appreciate their attention. Highly recommend! Also for special events as they have the space!More infoThe Continent DCPrice: Very Expensive• African• Downtown•4.5
