The food is great but don’t expect they’ll do anything to celebrate your birthday. I had informed the restaurant of a milestone birthday and they did nothing. No apology from the management either. Once I complained we got a dessert long after we had finished the one we ordered.

Great food and service as usual! A bit boisterous by the bar so if you’re looking for lower noise, ask to sit away from bar.

We sat outside with the table side heaters which was perfect. Indoors was a bit too noisy. Unfortunately our server was not attentive at all. I had to ask twice for more bread and about three times for water refills for our table of 3. However, his attention to detail was excellent when our wine glasses were empty and he asked if we wanted another glass. That tells me it was his choice to not noice our empty bread and empty water. Lastly the bathroom needed attention. Garbage can overflowing, toilet paper on the floor. Glad it was a busy night for them (it was a Sunday) but they need to check the restrooms occasionally. A messy restroom gives an unclean vibe. As always the food was excellent and the folks running out the salads, plates of food and second portions were on it!

Let me start out by saying, I love Medium Rare because this is an awesome restaurant. This weekend was a special occasion as it was our anniversary. Our dinner as always here was fantastic. I always look forward to their rustic bread with salted butter...Fantastic! If I had this alone without anything else, I would be happy. Next up with another great salad. And finally the Steak Frites. Perfectly cooked medium rare! Great food, great staff and service, and consistently a great time every time we visit Medium Rare in Arlington. We highly recommend this for everyone.

Service was exceptional the evening we dined. Just as the rain was approaching we were quickly re-sat inside. There was not one outstanding moment, but a series of just really good service acts by all of the staff.

The portion size has decreased. I noticed less steak and even fewer fries on the plate. the steak was also tougher. Not sure we will return.
