Great authentic Italian restaurant in Little Italy.

There’s a reason Hugo’s Frog Bar is still packed after all these years! My brother and I had an absolutely fabulous dinner. The food was incredible—from the salmon avocado sushi roll appetizer to the Dover sole, which was simply killer! The cocktails were on cloud nine, including my French 77 and my brother’s mezcal cocktail. And the service? Outstanding! A special shout-out to Frank, who took such wonderful care of us. Everything was exceptional, from start to finish. In fact, it was so good that I’m already bringing my out-of-town friends back in two weeks. Hugo’s continues to be a Chicago classic for a reason!

The food was very good. We had the chicken and lamb chops. Both were served with mashed potatoes. They were real with real butter and milk! I had the lamb chops (4) cooked medium - 2 lemon and herb and 2 jerk. My favorite was the lemon herb. Jerk taste like Heinz 57 which I like but not on my lamb chops. The cocktails were but a little sweet. I think it was the peach nectar. I had club soda added. The popcorn appetizer was unique and tasty. I could have eaten an entire bowl. The decor… elegant and simply beautiful. The entertainer was very good. The decor and entertainment made the experience memorable. I recommend experiencing Chemistry while in Hyde Park - Chicago.

Lula Cafe NEVER disappoints. I’ve been wanting to try their farm dinner for a while and when it aligned with my birthday AND had wagyu on the menu, I knew it was the perfect opportunity. Seating for our reservation was delayed, but the staff was very apologetic and went above and beyond to make up for it. The hospitality at Lula is impeccable. They checked in with us multiple times and even sent a free appetizer and desserts. They made me feel so special on my birthday and I just genuinely had the greatest time. I’m so impressed with their ever changing menu and delivery on unique farm dinners. Thank you Lula Cafe and the whole team for being the absolute BEST in the game!

Really tasty! The 4 of us all really enjoyed 3 spreads, zucchini chips and our souvlaki dishes. Drinks also were great. Dessert menu was uninspiring and we declined. Service was friendly, helpful, fast and efficient.
