We had two entrees, the short ribs and grilled chicken. Both were fantastic! But even better was the service! Not cheap, but great food rarely is. Highly recommended when you are in La Crosse.

Another excellent dinner here. We came a year ago and had a delicious meal. This time was just as good, and maybe even a little better. Started off with a couple of appetizers: crab cakes and a Bavarian soft pretzel. That pretzel literally stole the show! Amazingly good. For dinner, I got the Wissota “Wagyu,” and it was so good. The other entrees at our table were all good, too, including the scallops, shrimp, and ribeye. We had two sides: Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. Both were very good, though the sprouts would have been even better if they had been roasted a little longer. Of course we had dessert, especially because we were celebrating a birthday. The raspberry tiramisu was the winner, with the chocolate cake coming in a very close second. Both of our servers did a great job. Thanks, Mandy and Bruce! An awesome dinner experience. We will be back!

My eighth time here. The highlight of my visits to Mayos. I’ve experienced most items on the menu, all of which have been superb. The many servers I’ve had are well-versed on the menu, professional, and welcoming attitude.
