My husband and I have dined at Tsuru three times in the last couple of months. This is why we love it: the food is outstanding; the service is friendly, prompt and helpful; the music is pleasant and not too loud; it's in a pleasant part of the city. We also particularly enjoyed the advice we received one evening on which sake to order - and it was wonderful!

From the service to the food, the whole experience was fantastic and memorable. Our server was really attentive and made sure to accommodate our dietary requirements. Food and service was out of this world. The pumpkin gnocchi, in a French/ Japanese restaurant, was the best I have ever eaten. The Bansho oysters were fantastic. Together with the scallops. Drink prices reasonable, but not a cheap night out.
