    Excellent food - the spicy tuna rice cake and the chutoro w/paddlefish caviar were incredible bites. Such good flavor. The cocktail menu is fun and exciting, the Tanuki is maybe the best manhattan I've ever had. Can be a little loud, and Chef Michael is clearly an intense guy that is very passionate about producing top tier food.

    We just had the best dining experience! Otaru checked all the boxes-amazing food & drinks, great view of the city, and our server, Brynn, was so gracious & helpful with choosing dishes & bringing them out in a perfectly paced manner. We both loved the Sakura Samurai cocktail, the Yellowtail Belly nigiri was so fresh & delicate, the Treasure Box gave us lots of sashimi to try & our fav dish was the creamy, unique Chawanmushi, with Uni. We can't wait to go back!
