- TTajWest Sussex •2 reviews5.0Dined on 22 Oct 2026As a family we have been coming to the Fig tree over the last eight years. The first time I visited I was debating if I would need to get a takeaway from next door . However by the fourth course I realised that it wouldn't be neccessary. I have never had a bad meal at any point. The quality of the food served has always been first class. The wine flight is beautifully matched to the dishes in the Taster Menu. The service and the staff are excellent. I am surprised that the Fig Tree hasn't received a Michelin Star. Very much worth a visit .More infoThe Fig Tree Restaurant- Hurstpierpoint££££• English• Haywards Heath•4.9
- MMarkGoldChicago / Illinois •66 reviews5.0Dined on 18 Sept 2026Very unassuming at first glance. The quality of the food and the friendly service made us permanent converts. We arrived for Friday fish fry day. The fish and chips were fantastic. Best fish fillet I have had. The mashed peas were sweet and fresh. Finally, I ordered an Affogato for dessert. It was perfection. Overall, I would come here again and again.More infoThe Beach Bracklesham££££• English• West Wittering•4
- NNatalieSurrey •2 reviews5.0Dined on 15 Dec 2024Lovely venue and very helpful staff. We had a cream tea for 2 with a glass of sparkling local wine (which we didn’t get!) Personally I don’t think I would pay that amount again for what we got, the salmon on a small roll was inedible and the sandwiches were literally a 1/4 of a piece of bread with filling each. The scone wasn’t particularly fresh and the cake offerings were tiny. The breakfast tea was lovely, and the service fabulous. So all in all don’t bother with the afternoon teas over priced, just not worth it. But service lovely so go and try the hotel, Spa and main meals.More infoThe Spread Eagle Hotel & Spa - The Restaurant££££• British• Midhurst•4.4
