Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Gardner

My maple glazed salmon was excellent, as were the sides of butternut squash, spinach, asparagus, and wild rice - My husband's cod was equally great - The creme brulee trio was perfect for dessert - The only reason that I didn't give the service a 5* is that the restaurant seemed to be a little short staffed and it looked to us that our waitress was the only one hustling to get her tables taken car of - We would definitely recommend 75 Chestnut and we will be going back.

The Publick House provided our expected quality evening of a quiet dinner with excellent service and delicious entrees.

My hudband and I found Out of the Woods as we were on our way to a concert & decided to check it out. Now we can't wait to go back! The best food that we've had in greater Boston, including Boston itself, and the best duck I've had since living in New Orleans back in 2003. Highly recommend!

Food and service excellent I had scalloped very tasty and my husband had haddock. Portions large enough to take away.
