Best Chinese Restaurants in East Harlem

I hadn’t been to TAO in quite a while, and my return made for a great night out. The ambiance was just as memorable as I remembered, and the service was attentive throughout the evening. Even servers covering other sections stopped by to check on me, a thoughtful touch that made me feel well taken care of. The wasabi honey sauce served with my Shrimp Tempura Roll was a standout. It was so good I could practically drink it! I also paired it with my sashimi, including the toro, and enjoyed every bite. My waiter’s recommendation of the Brooklyn sake was another highlight. Between the atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious food and sake, it was a great experience from start to finish.

It was perfect for my business meeting. Honestly, I tried it for the first time because it gave 1000 pts on OpenTable so I thought I'd give it a shot. Glad I did. It was a great experience.

This is a great restaurant for Chinese food, which seems tailored to common American tastes. My Chinese fianceé and I dined here while considering restaurants to privately book for our wedding, and we had a great experience. Easy to book. Easy to change a reservation. Great ambiance. Quiet. Peaceful. Good aesthetics, both regarding the presentation of the food which seemed high quality and the design of the place. And customer service was flawless.

The food is excellent and good value. Everything is fresh and well prepared. We are visiting in town for a few days and dined there three times!
