Amazing evening! Loved the code on door in lobby and then take you downstairs! Everything was fantastic: ambience, music, waiters, food! One the best steaks I have ever had, cut like butter! Fantastic addition to downtown Angola! I have been here for lunch also, and it was amazing as well! Well done!

Four of us went to Shorty's for the 1st time on 11/5/26. Sat in the beautiful bar room. Excellent service by Kelly! She was friendly and knowledgeable about menu items. The manager, Monica, also stopped by twice to make sure we were happy & if we had any questions or comments. Drinks (draft beers & whiskey sours) were refreshing. Food, prepared by Chef Jeff was excellent! My filet mignon, ordered medium, was prepared melt-in-your-mouth perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning to not be overpowering. Other highly rated items at our table were the potatoes romanoff, sauteed vegetables and hangar steak special. We were too full to order dessert but we did see the carrot cake at another table and it looked fresh and delicious! Yes, it can be pricey, but it was quality food and service in a comfortable and attractive bar. It was not higher priced than other places that don't rate as high, in my opinion. We WILL return.

Always a great experience when we eat in the bar at Granite City - Fort Wayne. Austin and Emily are outstanding servers! Wide variety of food that is always delicious and very fair on prices. They always have specials running as well.

This was our first visit to Amore and it was delightful! We were seated at a beautiful, private booth. Our server, Cay, was outstanding! She was able to describe the menu offerings and tailor them to our preferences. She was attentive but not intrusive. The items we ordered were delivered promptly and the used dishes were cleared quickly as well. The food was delicious! The foccacia was airy but had a beautiful texture when torn. The dipping sauce was a bit thick and could have used a lot more calabrian chili. The braised beef was fall-apart tender, was seasoned well and the polenta was creamy. The olive oil and sea salt gelato was stunning...so creamy with perfect flavors! The affogato was delicious and the espresso brought out the depth of flavor. As the restaurant filled the din was never intrusive. What a lovely meal!

We went to a winemaker dinner. Each course was paired with a wine from Duckhorn Cellars in California. It was fantastic! Each wine was great on its own, but each also paired well with the food served with it. The second course was a Maple Leaf Farms duck breast. Interestingly, the owners of Maple Leaf Farms were there eating with us! They were friendly and gracious. You meet the best people while dining at Eddie Merlot!!
