About the restaurant
The Sena family tradition of culinary excellence dates back to early 1947 when Carlo “Papa” Sena began to cook in postwar Naples. The family carried this experience across the Atlantic and opened La Famiglia in 1976 in the shell of a Colonial tea warehouse. Today, La Famiglia stands as the finest Italian restaurant in Philadelphia and a major landmark on the city’s vibrant restaurant scene.

The food was EXCEPTIONAL! From the salted bread to our main course, everything tasted great. It was an anniversary dinner and we decided to splurge. We had the tuna tartare, oysters Rockefeller, waygu meatballs and sea scallops to start. Accompanied by our cocktails the VIP and lights out Manhattan (very similar to an old fashioned). The main course was a bone-in ribeye and sea bass. What made our experience exceptional was our server Cantrell. He made sure all of our questions were answered in regards to the menu. In addition, he was very attentive and made our anniversary memorable. He took our pictures, gave us a champagne toast and dessert. Our anniversary dinner was perfect and I will be returning.

Rittenhouse Square
About the restaurant
Welcome to Tria, Philly's original casual wine bar since 2004.

Our two Center City wine bars have helped elevate Philly’s wine scene while keeping it fun. Tria’s seasonally curated wine, cheese and beer menus showcase super-cool smaller producers who are driven by passion. The friendly Tria team will help you discover new flavor sensations if that’s your jawn. If you prefer, we’ll bring you more wine and leave you alone. It’s all good.

We love wine and it shows, but Tria above all is a community where guests come to relax and connect. There are no TVs or other distractions. The “concept” is for our guests to engage in conversation made livelier, deeper and cheerier by the wine. Cheers!

About the restaurant
In Italy, a trattoria is a cozy & casual, family-ran restaurant. And that is exactly what we strive to be! During the day, we are an all local, whole animal butcher shop & deli and at night, an intimate trattoria. Our food is regionally Mid-Atlantic while being primarily influenced by Italian cooking. We are inspired by our local farmers, their produce and the cultural diversity of Philadelphia. All of our ingredients are locally sourced except for a few spices and salt. We mill flour, make pastas & breads, and butcher proteins all in house. And now with our winery, Punk Rock Wine Co, we are making and serving our own PA grown & Philly made wines alongside beers, wines & spirits from other PA producers. Looking forward to having you! And thank you for supporting local farmers and small businesses!
