Welcome! San San is an homage to American Chinese cuisine. We are inspired by the mountains of Boulder and the generations of Chinese immigrants. The food they cooked were adapted to the taste and ingredients of their communities in America thereby creating the branch of American Chinese food on the Chinese culinary tree. Here at San San, my staff and I strive to provide you an elevated and creative taste of American Chinese cuisine such as gluten-free General Tso's Chicken, and Seafood Chop Suey. Please Enjoy!

Not a restaurant I'd ever visit again. While interior is pleasant enough, the food (all around) left much to be desired.

Small menu but everything we got was delicious. The chef came by several times and is a super nice guy. We will be back. You need to press the button at your table to get servers to come over. Nice to only be “bothered” by staff when you want. Very prompt when you push the button.

San San is good but not amazing. the chicken dumplings were a bit doughy and I didn't care for the chicken filling. My mongolian beef dish was good however we found the General Tso's chicken to be a bit too sweet and the chicken was a bit tough to cut through. Happy hour glass of wine was priced right but was only about 5 oz of wine. Service was great overall.

New restaurant in Boulder. The staff was amazing and loved the Chinese food as well that has a modern twist. Edwin also owns the Poke place next door which was great as well. I recommend both :)!

Good service. Crab and Corn soup and red wine were good. San San sells itself as American Chinese. General Tso’s Chicken was off for American Chinese. Tasted OK, but not “right.” Beef Chow Fun was not good. Noodles were rubbery and sauce was oily.

Our lunch group was warmly welcomed by the owner. Ordering was high tech “like first class in a plane” Food arrived quickly. Everything was fresh and tasty. No tipping!!!

Best meal ! Every bite was sensational. The sauce on the fried chicken tickled my toes. The fried rice & dumplings were the perfect accompaniment. The mocktail (Don’t call me Shirley ) was excellent too. Thank you, Edwin.

The food was very good, but the menu was somewhat limited. I liked their take on American adaptations of traditional Chinese food, Chop Suey, et. I do hope they expand the entrée options in the future. The no tip (18% service charge) was so nice to see in our crazy tipping culture. The owner (Edwin I believe) dropped by twice to see how we were doing. Extremely nice guy.
