Lovely restaurant. Enjoyed the shrimp dumplings as an appetizer and their peach cobbler Special dessert was spectacular. While the flavors of my fish dish were very good, The fish itself was a little on the dry side. My partner had steak special and it was a little tough. So while our evening wasn’t a home run, we would definitely visit again.

Three guest and we were Celebrating two birthdays at Vela Kitchen. The food was top notch. Would go there again and would also recommend it to others. We each had a coctail which where yummy! We tried the cauliflower fritters and crispy artichokes as starters, great flavors and a nice lite starters! We each had the Wasabi Tuna.... absolutely loved the flavors... tuna was cooked perfectly. Loved this place, check it out for yourself!

very welcoming. Great cocktails, great food. And all priced very reasonably. The restaurant makes an effort to keep prices down while not compromising quality. Every meal I’ve had there has been fantastic.

The seafood dishes had interesting combinations of ingredients and flavors. The salmon tartar was very creatively presented. The tuna dish and the paella dish were all very flavorful and tasty. Service was very attentive. The acoustics were a bit loud.

Perfect spot for bite (or more!) before a movie at Jacob Burns. Outstanding small plates, entrees, desserts, and cocktails (movie themed!). Next time we’re going to try the fresh popcorn (though I don’t know how we’ll choose between truffle or rosemary…maybe we’ll get one of each). Interior is sleek and also welcoming. Service was excellent.
