DENVER ➡️ Must Try Omakase experience in a BASEMENT 🍣🍱 @ukiyo_omakase #imabowliever Trust your taste buds with Chef Paul and Mando through their modern multi course omakase menu. My favorite courses were the bluefin tuna, sashimi flight, chawanmushi in a hollowed EGG and their katsu. You’ll leave feeling full! And definitely try a few cocktails while you’re there. #hosted #denverfoodie #denverfoodscene #denverblogger #omakase #idreamofsushi

My recent visit to Ukiyo Omakase in Denver was nothing short of unforgettable—made even more special because it was my dad’s first Omakase experience 🍣🍱. From the moment we stepped into this intimate 12-seat chef’s table, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality, setting the perfect tone for the evening. Under the expert guidance of Chef Paul, Ukiyo presents a multi-course omakase that seamlessly blends Japanese techniques with global influences. Each dish was a masterful showcase of seasonal ingredients, reflecting the chef’s dedication to quality and innovation. The progression of courses was thoughtfully curated, each plate outshining the last in both presentation and flavor 🇯🇵🎏. With spring in the air, Ukiyo’s Kizuna no Tobemono menu embraces the season’s vibrant bounty. Fresh herbs, delicate citrus notes, and the richest, buttery cuts of tuna took center stage, capturing the essence of renewal and transformation. This third menu celebrates the deep connections between people and cultures, fusing elements of Southeast Asian, Japanese, and Western cuisines in a way that feels both familiar and refreshingly inventive. The beverage pairings were just as remarkable. Each sake and wine was meticulously chosen to enhance the flavors of the meal, adding new dimensions to every bite. The staff’s enthusiasm and deep knowledge of each pairing made the experience as educational as it was delicious 🍸. But the highlight? Watching my dad savor each dish with wide-eyed wonder 😍😋. Seeing his excitement and hearing him say that this first omakase experience had set an impossibly high standard made the night even more meaningful. Ukiyo Omakase isn’t just a meal—it’s an artfully curated journey, one that we’ll cherish for years to come. A special thank you to @chatterclub and @ukiyo_omakase for having us. #denver #colorado #food #yum #eat #downtown #drinks #reel #thingstodo #explore #sushi #omakase #fun #explore

Let me be your guide for places to eat and things to do in Denver & beyond. Follow @candieseatsworld for more! I had the pleasure of dining at Ukiyo @ukiyo_omakase a Japanese bath-house inspired fine dining concept featuring an intimate 12-seat Chef’s table for Season 3: “Kizuna no Tobemono”, a curated omakase experience that honors the importance of connections between people and cultures. The 3rd menu combines innovative ingredients and culinary traditions from around the world through the eyes and experiences of Chef @sanippaul creating a unique and intimate dining experience. Before we began, he said something that deeply resonated with me - “tonight we leave everything that’s a distraction behind to reconnect with ourselves through food.” And I really needed that. Everything from my gold ✨ speckled “Million Dollar” cocktail to the apple crumble dessert with uni ice cream and each course in between (with the perfect sake parings, of course) was fantastic. The attention to detail and service were the cherry on top of a truly wonderful culinary experience. Share this with someone who needs to try this omakase 🍣 Thank you so much @ukiyo_omakase and @chatterclub for having me 🙏🏽
