                                                        We came to the restaurant to celebrate my dads birthday. He wanted to do something a little different this year. We discovered Laurel Park and so we decided to make a reservation at TIPS. It was a lovely experience. Staff was wonderful and accommodating. It’s a perfect spot to see the live racing while enjoying a meal. The birthday card with the birthday wishes from the staff was a beautiful touch that my dad loved. Food was great. We did have a crab soup (can’t remember the name) which was tasty but it was just a little bit too salty. However, the food overall was great and tasty. We will definitely be back.

                                                        I wanted something a little different for my birthday this year and made a reservation for their Sunday brunch. I had never been and want to put a little money on the ponies (I lost be it was all in good fun). I appreciated at the menu had a good balance of breakfast and lunch options and the $15 mimosas for 2 hours was a hit with my guests. The food was good, the price point was good. They even has a card with with my name and that the staff had signed. It was super cute. The only slight hiccup was the seating option. I made the reservation about 3 weeks prior to the day. I had a party of 10 and instead of possibly pushing several tables together in the mid section of the main floor they put us in two booths that made conversation and community a little difficult. Other than that myself and my guest said they would go again especially once I mentioned they also offer a Mother's Day brunch.
