The whole experience was amazing and faultless. From having the door opened for us when we arrived to the beautiful decor and ambiance! Even the bathroom had essential oils burning. The food was sensational-we will definitely be back ;-)

The Stables at Stones is absolutely beautiful. It is the ideal spot for a wedding.
However I probably wouldn’t go back due to the food being over priced, not very tasty, re-heated and minimal. We were also put on a table with another couple even though the place was empty.
A friend suggested we go to the Barn, so we will go back for that. It looked a lot more busy when we went there.
I’ve paid $65 per head elsewhere and were actually full and it was much better. Can’t fault the atmosphere though.

We received a voucher from a friend for The Stables, but I would have paid every cent myself. The quality of their shared plate Lich is on another level, the service I highly professional, the decor is wonderfully rustic and the selection of wines is enormous!

The setting is wonderful in autumn, light streaming in through ample windows and a charming garden outlook. Shared plates idea is fun and the variety and quality of food was excellent. Only down side is hot items cool quickly because of the small portion sizes. Beef cheek was cold and congealed by the time we got to it. Calamari was chewy. Minor niggles really, the overall experience was great and we'll be back.
