Not the David Duncan House that I remember! We went many times when it was owned by the 3 brothers, It was exceptional! Last night the service was very slow, the menu was very similar but i was not impressed.

A hugely disappointing dinner. I had always thought of this place as a classic, old-school steakhouse, so I expected atmosphere and a sense of occasion. From the moment we walked in, that expectation fell apart. We were led to a corner with no light at all — it felt like the darkest spot in the entire restaurant — even though the restaurant was far from full. We arrived at 7:30pm and there were plenty of empty tables, yet the good tables seemed to be kept for Western diners, while we — and, it seemed, most of the Chinese guests — were tucked away in the corners. Only after we asked were we moved to a brighter table. We ordered our ribeye medium rare. What arrived had no trace of pink at all — it was completely overcooked. The halibut was just as bad, completely overcooked and very dry. When we pointed out the steak, they took it away and, amazingly, brought a new one back in about three minutes. A 16oz ribeye cannot be cooked from scratch in three minutes, which made us wonder whether it was pre-made. After our main courses, no one came to ask whether we wanted dessert — no one at all — so we simply paid the bill and left. Not only would I not recommend this restaurant — it was deeply disappointing — and I won't be going back.

First time at this restaurant and it was amazing! The Table Side Caesar Salad for 2 was a great experience and delicious! The young gentleman that did the experience was fantastic! All of our meals (prime Rib and ribsteak) were top notch! We will definitely be back when we are in the area! There were so many other menu items we wanted to try!

David Duncan House delivers quality food and service time and time again. Wonderful waitstaff add to a cozy intimate atmosphere. I just wish I could walk around and see inside the entire house/restaurant because it's so interesting.

Restaurant is full of character, old style. Food was excellent served at good temperature and timing between courses perfect. Staff were exceptional, not intrusive and informative. Americans guests mentioned one of the finest restaurant visited.
