About this restaurant

Tanjore is Cambridge, Massachusetts’ regional Indian restaurant, using exotic ingredients to create authentic dishes for lunch and dinner. Tanjore also serves a daily lunch buffet. The menu provides an array of appetizers, entrees and desserts and many of the dishes are separated by region so diners can taste a variety of Indian cuisine. Tandoori dishes such as salmon tikka and kebabs are a Tanjore favorite, but diners should also check out the Southern Indian menu that features exotic items like lentil dumplings and a variety of curries. Desserts include rice pudding, homemade ice cream and more. Dishes on the menu are marked with asterisks to denote spiciness, and the restaurant does provide catering services.
