Authentic Thai food with lively vibes and a super cool atmosphere that truly makes you feel transported to Thailand 🇹🇭🍜 @sappeisan.nyc is the perfect spot for a group dinner, serving all the classic Thai dishes we love alongside plenty of unique and seriously delicious options. This hotspot is the sister restaurant to @soothr_nyc and absolutely did not disappoint! Some of our favorite dishes included the mama e-la noodles, gai yang, shrimp pad Thai, and sen kua noodles, but honestly, everything here is incredible. And save room for dessert! We ordered the buk prao and the mango sundae, and both were amazing🍨🥭 Check out this 1950s Thai street food themed restaurant in Chelsea for the best vibes and even better food and drinks 🍽️

SAPPEISAN is at its calmest during lunch (daily 12:00–3:30 pm), while weekend evenings, especially Saturday nights, tend to be lively and packed, so plan accordingly.
Yes, many guests recommend SAPPEISAN as a fun splurge for date nights and anniversaries, thanks to its stylish, lively setting, creative cocktails, and standout dishes like Mama E‑La and branzino.
Sappeisan delivers a fun, buzzy Thai dining experience, colorful, energetic, and inspired by Thailand’s Golden Age, with tight, railroad‑style seating and small side or back rooms that can feel more intimate.
Casual dress is the guide for Sappeisan, comfortable, relaxed clothing is appropriate and nothing formal is required.
