Nestled in the heart of the East Village, Nai offers an elevated take on Spanish tapas inspired by Galicia. Chef Ruben Rodriguez brings his heritage, artistry, and deep respect for tradition to every dish, turning simple ingredients into something unforgettable.

Our seasonal tasting menu showcases Galicia’s rich flavors through Chef Ruben’s creative lens. Whether you’re joining us for an intimate dinner, Flamenco performances on Thursdays and Saturdays, or our cozy Happy Hour escape Monday–Wednesday (5–7pm) with half-price sangria pitchers, $6 beers, and $10 house wine, Nai is where food, culture, and hospitality come together.

Reservations are recommended, with limited bar seating for walk-ins. Our curated wine list and seasonal cocktails complete the experience.

We had an excellent dinner at Nai. From the initial Sangria to the last course of Duck, everything was delicious and very original. We shared 6 plates which was a bit much but gave us an opportunity to sample a broad spectrum of the menu. All were exquisite and the partner/manager was happy to discuss their preparation. The Staff were all very attentive. Overall, very high marks and we will come back. We can tell that the chef cooks with technique, originality and love.

Tasty small dishes and great wine selection. Excellent flamenco show with great artists ( Thursdays and Saturdays 7:30 and 9:30 pm)

Every item we tasted was well balanced and phenomenal. We had a nut allergy in the group and they made a special portion with no almonds to accommodate. Excellent wine pairings. Great discovery.

The food and service were incredible. My gf and I were eating and didn’t even notice a little issue with the speakers. That didn’t matter as Raul who I believe is the GM came over and offered a free desert which was one of the most unique and delicious things we have ever had. We will certainly be back

Food is amazing! Everything was deelish, especially scallop crudo, chickpeas, beef tartate, duck confit, and a shrimp dish that I'm not seeing on the menu but tasted like chorizo (chef's kiss). Was with a party of 10 so had the benefit of trying everything, barring the dessert because we were at capacity. Can't go wrong. If you're in the mood for delicious tapas, you must go to Nai!
