The gumbo and fried fish were absolutely delicious. I did not enjoy the fried chicken sandwich because I expected that like most sandwich chicken, I would get breast meat instead of thigh meat. The collards were tasty but a bit salty. I enjoyed the sweet potatoes. The cocktails were good.

The food was delicious. I loved all the appetizers like calamari omg the deviled eggs were amazing. The biscuits came with side cinnamon and apple butter neither of which I used. I had deep fried lobster tail on a bun. Never before but would again! Everyone enjoyed their food. Definitely worth the trip. Not sure if it’s an always thing but they had a dj and the music was on point. Our waitress Terre was wonderful. All around great time for our family of 7.

I’m not a waffle fan and I honestly did not think there was much you could do to make a waffle taste any better. I mean, it’s just a waffle, right? WRONG! We ordered 2 of the Fish & Grits and 1 Steak & Eggs with an additional order of waffle to share btw. 3 of us in case it wasn’t all that. THAT WAS THE BEST WAFFLE I HAVE EVER TASTED! My goodness, we chowed it down so fast, all the time raving with every bite. The fish was humongous and delicious. The grits were not like before. They were lumpy without much taste. We definitely did not taste any cheese. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our server was a sweetheart. We went to the Waldorf location and the atmosphere was nice. Music not too loud which is usually a big problem for me when you have to compete with the music just to enjoy your conversation. Overall, Excellent. Very much enjoyed this venture and will be returning here.
