Mi Vida is East Market’s newest Mexican spot, and I’m calling it now, catch me with a margarita here on the patio during the summer. The location is great, the decor is chic and fun, and I loved the food that I tried at the opening party. The Guacamole was chunky and salty, and I could’ve eaten 10,000 of the crispy chips. The Ceviche looked great and I heard it was, I just am not a fish girl like that. But the Carne Asada tacos were amazing - I loved that the steak was medium to medium rare, and the fresh, warm tortillas were incredible. They had churros out toward the end of the event & I said YES PLEASE! Crunchy on the outside and soft pillows on the inside, these churros were great. I would definitely go back to Mi Vida & explore more of the menu. They offer brunch, lunch, happy hour, and dinner, so there’s a ton of times to go & check it out!
