We did not eat here because the restaurant was closed!!! I got two confirmations and when we arrived we found the restaurant closed. Boo Open Table, u should be up to date

Our attendant David was great and the food as well. David ran the bar, took orders and served food. He was on it with the refills, food orders and all. Pleasant, respectful and handled the floor like a smooth criminal, lol.

The flavors in the food were exceptional. From appetizers to the main course. I selected buttermilk fried chicken for my Birthday Dinner.

Had a great server (wish I remembered her name) - out on the patio. She made fantastic recommendations for drinks and meals. Attentive without being obnoxious or making us feel rushed. It was loud, but we knew it would be as we were there for one of the summer concerts. Much better experience than my last visit (Mother’s Day debacle).

Overall the food and service was good. There were some items that were listed on the brunch that we were looking forward to and were not available so that was frustrating. I was surprised by how empty the restaurant was for brunch.

It took a while for a server to come over to get our order. There were only people at 2 other tables so they weren’t super busy. The waiter didn’t explain the unlimited brunch and when we asked about they seemed very confused and couldn’t really answer our questions. When we did place our order it took a long while for the food to come out. I am not sure if that was done on purpose as there is time limit of 2 hours. Will to give it another chance as the food was okay.

We used to live near Reston and tried this Matchbox a few time never ever very good. We just a few miles down the road so we decided to give it another try. This it was for brunch with our dog outside. On all counts it was just awful. It took forever to get menus and to order. Our food took way too long to come out. It was cold and not very good. I guess we learned our lesson never go back to this Reston location of matchbox Edie A
