From the OpenTable editors: After a day of tasting Pinot in the Willamette Valley, Hayward is where you'll want to post up for dinner. Led by chef Kari Shaughnessy, the team breaks down whole animals, pickles vegetables, bakes sourdough, and crafts a simple but ambitious menu that makes it a standout in the region. The restaurant, now located in charming Carlton, even snagged James Beard nominations in 2023 and 2024, shining a spotlight on Oregon wine country's culinary bounty.
Executive chef: Kari Shaughnessy
An enriching culinary experience, we set out to create delicious dinners while following a strict ethos on sourcing. We hold close relationships with all of our farmers and ranchers, making a uniquely personal menu. Dishes change weekly based on what is available on the farm and in the larder. While everything is sourced in a tight radius, the flavors are inspired by our travels and memories.
