I had a reservation for 8 at 6pm… we had to cancel it by 6:25 because we couldn’t wait any longer

They lost our reservation and said we’d have to wait 30+ minutes. We could have made other reservations and were forced to go elsewhere. Totally inappropriate and unapologetic. Should be taken off the Open Table system.

Food was very good, especially the shrimp appetizer. VERY noisy, had to speak very loudly to be heard. Felt very rushed to give our order, food came quickly, and then never saw server.

Shirlington’s Guapo’s is the exception that proves the rule that not all chain restaurants are the same. This is the best Guapo’s I’ve ever been to. Great food, friendly and prompt service. Should be Guapo’s flagship restaurant.

I always enjoy the food and atmosphere at Guapo’s. Last night, there was a family with little kids who spilled food all over the place. I understand that you have to clean up but sweeping really hard so close to our just arrived food annoyed me a tad. I made eye contact but unsure if she understood. It was a very quiet night with a zillion tables open. The sweeping could have waited a bit.

The food was great. It’s extremely loud in there with lots of birthday celebrations and clapping. A bit too loud for me!
