attentive but not intrusive service. Delicious food and beautiful presentation of each course for each of us. Novel and inventive options as well as the standbys (e.g., pasta bolognese). Restaurant in beautiful. We love this restaurant.

While dining out during this pandemic remains challenging, I suspect that patrons would be amenable to reasonable requests to turn a table after paying the check. We were not able to be seated for 30 min. past our reservation and waited in a lobby area. We did notice that others coming in after us were offered the option of waiting in the bar area. Wonder why we were not. We were also surprised that our main courses arrived with preparations not defined in the menu: turbot with butter sauce and new york strip with a chinese five season blend sauce. In our experience, added sauces tend to be used to hide something. We thought that the turbot was overcooked, but as it was after 9pm, we didn't send it back. Our appetizers, soft shell crab and a shared rotolo (actually a main) were fabulous! As was our waitperson. Desserts, cheesecake and baked alaska, had a nice presentation, but rather lacking in flavor. We have dined here in the past and really enjoyed everything. I'm sure that we will be back, but perhaps not until we get through the pandemic.

We always love Forest....great food and service. And the atmosphere is very delightful. You actually feel that you are dining in a cool city. Last night was a beautiful night and they were able to open the doors which was an extra bonus to our delightful evening.
