Please let us know upon booking if you wish to do a wine tasting before your lunch, we'd love to sit and chat first. If you do wish to do a a seated wine tasting first, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your lunch booking. We have a ten dollar tasting fee per person, which is redeemable on take home wine.
Maximum group size is 8 (includes children and non drinkers - due to capacity restrictions).
Great atmosphere - bubbly and youthful staff with good knowledge of wines and food available. Food presentation and quality beyond my expectation - we shall return. The food platters looked very inviting too.

We absolutely loved the place, the staff, the food. My question is, would I return and eat the same meal as I chose? The menu changes infrequently I’m told, so I think I’d like a change from that ..I’d love to come again soon, because it’s fresh in my mind.
I also think that there needs to be a handicap park which isn’t taken up with the owners combi ..
We spent an enjoyable 3 hours at DTRH food was wonderful and the staff exceptional a very quirky atmosphere very relaxing.
I want to share my enthusiasm for this entire venue. Service excellence, food freshness, quality and preparation outstanding. The welcoming staff, thoughtfully styled and natural aesthetic was like being wrapped in a big hug. I'll be back!
This was our first time at Down the Rabbit Hole and it was wonderful! Everyone made such a genuine effort to make sure we had a great time and we’re fill to the brim with amazing food and wine! Thanks so much for making my partners birthday so special!
Fantastic customer service, the staff are friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the wine is lovely too. It was our wedding anniversary and made they made us a special dessert board.

Had the most amazing experience at DTRH on 15/01/21. My girlfriends and I had a tasting and three course lunch booked, the venue/experience and food were absolute perfection but the main factor that made the whole day so enjoyable was the staff. They were the were the most genuine, kind and caring people who made us feel right so comfortable and like they really cared. And it wasn’t only the staff members who were particularly taking care of us - everyone was so lovely and went above and beyond and seemed to really love their workplace. They even opened up the the store for us after we expressed interest in their clothing and created a special ‘congratulations’ touch after I received good news.
Thank you so much for making our day so special. I couldn’t recommend DTRH more and I will be telling everyone to come here!
Beautiful, boho atmosphere. A must-see if visiting McLaren Vale. Food is delicious, however, limited options so would check to see first if this suits you. Service is great, however, is often slow due to high traffic and demand.
Although not a lot of choice for meals the dishes we had were amazing. Service was fantastic and the team bubbly and very friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Down the Rabbit hole to anyone. They are also freak with gluten free and vegetarian

We dined a la carte inside near wine bar and everything was fabulous! From smiling happy staff, to great wines and delicious food it was a great afternoon. A short menu of a few choices all cooked perfectly. The setting is unbelievable. Must go!

Excellent day to celebrate special occasion, staffs are friendly, accommodating and helpful. They have wide range of knowledge with their wine. Plus they do have a really good wine and venue.
