Fantastic as usual. Food was excellent, and our server was impressive. She was knowledgeable, attentive without being bothersome, and extremely personable. Overall a great experience.

Meehhhh… Overrated I guess. Service was slow (40 minutes to get a drink) Lobster Bisque was good, Ribeye was fair at best, Scallops were just ok. Atmosphere was extremely loud, sat by the waitress station.. they would clear dishes and toss them in a large bin on the floor near our table… ummm this is loud and a bit distracting when your trying to enjoy your dinner :/ Maybe not the best place to collect dishes ( on the floor) or don’t put guests tables there?!

Meal and service were great. That said, on a not terribly busy night they sat us at a table right next to the kitchen and staff prep area which was noisy and somewhat distracting when there were tables in the dining room sitting empty.

We saved Barringer’s for our last evening with a special meal during a 3 night stay in Fish Creek. I certainly hope that this was just an off night but who knows? The service was fine. The drinks were good. However the meal was disappointing with each course. We split the chopped salad. The apparently “waved” some avocado over the lettuce for it was hard to find. I won the hearts of palm competition with the lone piece! My wife ordered the filet cooked medium plus as the waiter called it. Closer to medium rare than not. I had a bone in ribeye at MP and while it was cooked close to how I ordered it I will tell you it was the most fat laden ribeye I ever had. Neither steak had any seasoning on it at all. Perhaps a Barringer’s thing. For sides we had very underwhelming brussel sprouts and papas. Neither we enjoyed and perhaps that’s partially on us for our choices. One might ask why didn’t we push back right at the table with our dissatisfaction? I don’t know just something we have never done. In fact this is the first poor review I have written across OpenTable, Google or Trip Advisor so perhaps that says something.

For our first night in Door County we had an amazing dinner at Barringer’s. The oysters were so good to start. Then my husband had the filet and I had the fish special. One of the best meals we had - the fish was absolutely delicious and my husband raved about the filet. From start to finish it was a delicious experience - the server was amazing as well. We would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone - from start to finish it was delightful!
