About this restaurant

Aji Sushi is a small, unassuming restaurant in New York City. The front of the restaurant features a large garage door that can be opened up to let fresh air into the dining area. The interior is designed with a simple Japanese aesthetic, as Aji Sushi is a restaurant that focuses squarely on the food and little else. As expected, Aji Sushi's menu is dominated by sushi. There are all sorts of sashimi, nigiri and sushi rolls available for patrons to order and several combination platters of each. Some of the most popular items here include the simple yellowtail belly roll and the more elaborate spicy spider roll with soft shell crab tempura, avocado, lettuce with tobiko and a spicy mayo sauce on top. Not all of the dishes here are raw, as Aji also makes a very good salmon and chicken teriyaki.
