Pilot is a restaurant that is truly us. Mal, Dash and Ross opened the venue with naive ambition in 2018.Hosting a 24 seat dining room and small outdoor area we are located at the back of the local shops in Ainslie, Canberra. We have chosen to offer a tasting menu to all guests. The menus created by Malcolm Hanslow and Syed Rashid are inspired by our experiences, the people we have met and worked with and nostalgic dishes from times past.Most of all it is about our love for food, fun and great hospitality.Our entire beverage list by Kane Nelson is all Australian. It includes wine, beer, spirits, aperitifs and amari. Thursday evenings we allow BYO with all corkage sales going to a chosen organisation for the month. One thing I can happily say, the service there is genuinely some of the best service one could ask for. Every employee is so chatty and nice that give the place a mood that is so welcoming. It was a massive standout adding on to the food which was so nice just made the whole experience amazing
