Food was fresh and inventive. I loved this place. Great wine as well.
Food and drinks were decent, but not sure why it’s a Michelin starred.
The only reason I put the ambiance so low is that we had to sit outside by the street and there is a sewer grate near where we were sitting and I could smell sewerage when the wind shifted. Luckily this happened at the end of the meal when we were paying the bill and not their fault because of Covid.
The food was amazing and the service was perfect!
First date eating out after being sheltered in for coronavirus. They did a nice job trying make most of the outdoor tables inviting and the food and service were wonderful.
Would absolutely recommend this restaurant. Good was delicious everyone enjoyed their meal and the cocktails. We were celebrating my daughter’s 21st Birthday and Meadowsweet made the evening memorable.
The food was so delicious it was a true experience. This is outstanding quality!
Have seen this place a lot and never gone in and I’m so glad we finally went! Amazing food and the bartender tried out some new cocktails on us that were all delicious. Absolutely going again 5 stars
The food was absolutely stunning. They accommodated my dislike of a particular ingredient in the tasting menu extremely graciously, and the wine pairings were fabulous. Highly recommend.
The food is really good and they accommodated the restricted diet my friend has (waiter was nice and provided the right suggestions).
However a manager asked us after 1h40 to leave the table to accommodate a large party in a not very nice way... This is not what you're expecting from a 1 star Guide Michelin restaurant. I had to raise my concern to another manager for her to take care of us in a more customer friendly way by offering to move to the bar (with a drink on the house).
The food was INCREDIBLE but even though wee got like 2 things off the menu each, the total came up to $70+. I’d definitely recommend and go back though.
Nice place. Decor was a bit tired, and the service lacked the excellence that I was expecting at a Michelin-star winner. Servers were a bit awkward and water wasted refilled promptly. Appetizer came and it was outstanding (cavatelle with oxtail and onion jam), really excellent. The main courses were also delicious, if a bit over-seasoned. The pasty dessert (tarts Tartine) was incredible. Great pastry chef. Overall a great experience that didn’t break the bank.
Food was amazing! The atmosphere is very loud, and the service was great but they could have used another server since it gets busy and it took a long time to pay our check/ get the server's attention at certain points. When we had his attention he was excellent. I would definitely not let this stop me from going back.
Good is beautifully prepared and tastes even better. Many choices for all palates. The service is very friendly and our server, John made great recommendations. We will definitely be back. I recommend reservations. They really stick to the time frame of your reservation. Every aspect was very pleasant.
The food was great but our service was really poor. We didn’t receive our drinks until midway through the meal (and we only received them then because we had to finally ask someone to go look), no one ever came by to refill our waters (which we had to drink because it took so long to receive our actual drinks), they forgot to bring one of our dishes, and we never saw our server during the entire meal until it was time for the check. While we did enjoy the food, the poor service really outweighed that aspect and makes it hard for me to recommend this place; for this pricepoint I would expect very strong service in addition to a good meal.
Great meal. Duck was outstanding.
Excellent restaurant, amazing service and for this price for a Michelin star restaurant, excellent value.
We always love coming here for the food.. but the noise level could be ‘cafeterias-like’.
Delicious, fresh, creative cuisine! Warm ambience and great service! A Williamsburg favorite!
Good value decent food.
For a restaurant with a Michelin rating it was nothing special. Flavor combinations worked, but a tad salty.
Had really disappointing service here today, but overall solid brunch choice.
Was really disappointed in the food. Everything was extremely salty.
Meadowsweet was delicious! Our table was ready when we arrived and the wait staff was extremely pleasant and kind and helpful. The portions were bigger than we expected from a one star restaurant and the quality was more than expected. The space was really cute and comfortable. Would definitely go again for a special occasion!
The location and the venue are excellent; the set up is not as much. The Waiters constantly kept banging into us while sitting as they were passing through. The Food, specifically the Pasta and the Ravioli were decorated well but tasted bland. The Duck entree was excellent, however the vegetarian entree was run of the mill steamed and caramelized vegetables, and not anything unique or innovative. The cocktails and dessert were good, but did not live up to the hype. We were very excited for our meal and experience at Meadowsweet, but left dissatisfied.
Tasting menu was great. Like they brought a variety of dishes for the table so 5 dishes actually turned into 10. Highly recommended
Went for brunch on Sunday and had a very tasty omelet. Looking forward to my return and also excited to try out for dinner!
Excellent food and very nice, relaxed ambiance! Good for vegetarians and meat eaters!
Tremendous value for the price, given that it has one Michelin star, which is well deserved. Artichokes to start, then lamb and duck, followed by chocolate dessert, all being expectations. Waiter John was engaging and helpful. Highly recommend!
Amazing brunch. Order the duck pastrami. Enough said.
Comfortable room. Good lighting. Appetizers all outstanding. Friendly service.
Love coming here for brunch! They have a lot of good and healthy options which is always nice. The truffle egg yolk toast is to die for and the doughnuts pair excellent with coffee.
Food was outstanding!
Love this restaurant - food is consistently amazing!
The food was incredible. Everything we ordered was bursting with flavors. We had crispy baby artichokes ans burrata to start, then shared the salmon, Wagyu bavette and roasted chicken as the entree, all phenomenal. It was a week day night so it was slow and quiet but I imagine on weekends is much more lively. Service was a little on the slower end but overall a great experience ans would definitely go back!
Loved this place.. Food was excellent and the drinks were great.
GooD brunch, although it didnt seem to me as place with a Michelin Star. The noise was so loud it was impossible to chat with the people that were having brunch with me. The food was good, not amazing.
Prices are OK.
It’s was very nice
Terrible food - technically flawed and tasted awful - Kitchen seems to like adding a load of strongly flavored discordant flavors like the over abundance of lemon zest on the already awfully prepared chicken main course - the Michelin star seems misplaced - not recommended other than for the initial small bread course
For New Year’s Eve, a more festive music selection would have set the mood better.
