Beautifully renovated, the Ferreira is a Montreal institution not to be missed. The Après 9 menu is also such a great deal when looking for a late night dinner. The quality of the food and the service is unbeatable.

Travelling from England and having done plenty of research, I had been looking forward to dining at Joe Beef for my birthday, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the maître d' was outstanding and truly made the evening special. He took the time to explain the menu in detail, talked us through the evening's specials with genuine enthusiasm, and provided excellent recommendations and guidance throughout the meal. The service from the entire team was impeccable. Every member of staff who visited our table was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without ever being intrusive. The food was exceptional. My husband loved the bone marrow starter, while the tuna was delicious. His beef bourguignon, cooked in a pot and served tableside, was, in his words, "sublime." As for me, I simply had to try the famous lobster spaghetti. It absolutely lived up to its reputation, although with so many tempting dishes on the menu, choosing was no easy task. Somehow, despite being completely satisfied, we still found room for dessert, and we're very glad we did. Joe Beef is located in a lovely Montréal neighbourhood, and as visitors we felt completely comfortable walking there on a Friday evening in November. Even at 6pm, the restaurant was buzzing with energy and packed with diners, creating a fantastic atmosphere that added to the experience. For a birthday celebration, it couldn't have been more memorable. Outstanding food, exceptional service, and an atmosphere that perfectly captures why Joe Beef is one of Montréal's most celebrated restaurants. A meal we'll be talking about for a long time.

Great service great food great atmosphere!

Amazing from start to finish. Our waitress was exceptional. She was so attentive and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic. We had the whole fish which was filleted table side by a master. We could not believe how delicious it was and not a bone was left on the preparation. Best onion soup. My only complaint is that it was my girlfriend’s birthday and after what we spent I felt it would have been a nice touch had it been on the house. Can’t wait to return.

One of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve every been in Old world, mastercraft paneling adorns the main area. High ceilings and unique wallpaper. The hamachi crisp in coconut milk was devine. Not cheap but worth every penny. Service was friendly and not stuffy and was professional. A must see restaurant. I made the reservation with Open Door. Strangely I got an email that said the restaurant canceled my reservation. So when we got there that’s is what we were told. However being a Monday night we were seated.
