A wonderful lunch that set the tone for our whole birthday weekend in Denver. The staff particularly impressed me — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The food quality was outstanding, and the kitchen honored my gluten-free and dairy-free allergies seamlessly. My salad was fresh and bright, and they even deconstructed the pork into a plate made just for my allergies — delicious, and I never felt like I was missing out. My husband absolutely loved his lamb pasta. The location right by Union Station is lovely, too — such a beautiful spot. We would return in a heartbeat. Always5Star rating: ★★★★★ — a flawless start to a celebration!

Great experience at chef bar. Innovative cocktails with fun riffs on classics. Each dish was texturally complex and had interesting but balanced flavor complexity with sour, spicy, sweet combinations. Highly recommended.

My first time dining at El Five was absolutely amazing! From the beautiful views and stunning bar to the welcoming hosts and attentive staff, the entire experience was exceptional. A special shoutout to our server, Taylor, because he truly deserves his flowers, cookies, and cakes! The menu is unique and exciting, but Taylor’s knowledge of every dish made ordering so seamless, especially for someone experiencing this style of cuisine for the first time. Almost everything we ordered was based on his recommendations, and he did not disappoint! The appetizers are an absolute must-try, and everything tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully paired. The cocktails were another highlight. I love a creative cocktail that actually tastes as good as it looks, and El Five delivered! If you’re looking to step outside the usual Denver dining scene and enjoy something different, upscale, and memorable, I highly recommend El Five. The food, atmosphere, service, and overall experience were wonderful. I genuinely enjoyed every moment and will absolutely be returning!
