    We had a tremendous meal last night. Ordered the majority of the à la carte menu. Every bite was outstanding. Several highlights were the English pea agnolotti, the smoked rabbit manti, and the halloumi dish. Our servers were charming and professional. The overall vibe was great. I have to mention that due to our whole day running late I had to push back our reservation twice and the staff couldn’t have been any more understanding and helpful.

    We sat at the counter and loved watching the skills of the fish cooks. Fantastic meal-scallop crudo-buttermilk, cherries, spice? Wow. Lobster gnocchi pasta dish-also fabulous. Then cod with a beautiful and delicate curry broth. And a delicious white wine by the glass recommended by our pro server. What a perfect way to start the weekend This restaurant is becoming my go-to destination when I want to be sure the food and service are completely enjoyable.

    We had a great but rather expensive meal at Bastia, the dining room is quiet and cozy, the rest of the hotel is beautiful and is a gem in a neighborhood where you would not expect it. The cocktails were interesting and very good, flavors that I had not had before. The appetizers were creative and beautiful, the house made foccaia was excellent as was the olive oil and thankfully they kept bringing us more when we asked. The pasta dish with lamb was out of this world tasty, and the steak was outstanding with the best gravy any of the 4 of us had ever tasted. The fish was equally excellent. Overall it was a great meal and the chef knocked it out of the park with the food and creativity. Our waitress was also very nice and accomodating.
