Best Restaurants with a Wood Oven in Central Scottsdale

We were their Friday night--restaurant and area lost power in storm--pizza kept coming out from the oven--and it was absolutely fantastic--we had 3 different types--all superb. Kind of a candlelight pizza dinner/cocktails--great evening.

Our server Harrison was excellent. We all enjoyed our pizzas & salads. The tartufo dessert was yummy

Five stars across the board - from the hostess welcoming us, to John our server, to the ambiance, to the comforting food. John gave perfect service, fabulous suggestions (especially the pear salad and the ragu pork pasta and the bondino) 🤩🤩🤩 Hubs always loves the diamante pizza. The patio seating is great, but we prefer the inside dining - low lighting, glowing candles, the quiet buzzing open kitchen - very quaint. Feels like you’re in a street cafe in Europe. We have been to Pizzaria Virtu several times, but a good reminder for us and everyone to frequent our locally owned restaurants. Scottsdale is filled with amazing restaurants but you can’t beat the pride and passion of our local chefs. Thanks for the experience and we’ll see you again very soon!!
